We are located at the corner of Albert and Lansdowne Streets, in East Melbourne. There is metered street parking on all surrounding streets. Please be sure to check the regulations and restrictions where you park as there are parking inspectors out every day. We recommend allowing at least an hour for your first visit.
The fee for our new patient appointment is up to $245. A part of this initial fee can be claimed from Medicare. We require full payment at the time of the consultation, and we accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and cash.
You do not require a referral to come and see us, however many of our patients are referred to us from a doctor or another eye care practitioner. If you have been referred to our practice, a letter is helpful - albeit not essential - as it usually provides us with an outline of the problem with your eyes and any relevant medical or ocular history. Whether you have a referral or not, you can still claim a Medicare rebate on your consultation fee.
A large number of our patients also come to see us based on the recommendation of a friend, work colleague or family member we have previously examined. We are always very pleased to welcome these people to our practice and they can be assured that they will also receive the high level of patient care and friendly service for which this practice is renowned.
