Hybrid contact lenses are a combination of a rigid corneal lens and a soft lens. They have a hard centre providing the sharp vision of a rigid contact lens whilst the soft skirt improves the comfort and stability. Hybrid lenses are worn by many of our patients for high myopia, keratoconus and astigmatism. These lenses are ordered from SynergEyes, California and are generally replaced on an annual basis.
