If a referral is clinically indicated and initiated during your consultation, this will be arranged at no charge.
Requests outside the scope of your appointment require additional time for our optometrists to review your records, apply clinical judgement, and prepare documentation.
To ensure this process is managed fairly and consistently, we have structured our report request system below. Each report is prepared with care to ensure it is clear, thorough, and clinically meaningful.
If you require a renewed referral to an ophthalmologist you are already under the care of, we are happy to provide an indefinite referral at no charge.
Patients must have been examined by one of our optometrists within the previous 12 months, or at the discretion of the treating optometrist and only where clinically appropriate.
